Baking Tip #17: Storing & Shipping Cookies & Bars:

Whether you are sending grandma your first batch of the season or you’d like to her to send her delicious treats, here are a few tips to consider when storing and shipping cookies and bars.

First, make sure cookies or bars are cooled. When packing your homemade cookies, place a piece of parchment paper between each layer and try not to overcrowd them. Plastic containers work best to lock in freshness. Try to use different containers for different types of cookies.
